Boomers profiles real people and life situations About Boomer Media Properties Boomer Media Properties, Inc. (BMP) creates television shows and other media for the Baby Boom generation. Our mission is to inform and inspire the Boomers and to promote a new vision of life after fifty. BMP’s goal is to build a nationally recognized brand. We have begun by producing the first national television series for Baby Boomers called Boomers! Redefining Life After Fifty!. The 13 half-hour lifestyle magazine shows air on PBS stations, beginning in January, 2006. We have developed a companion website (boomerstv.com) which will offer our audience additional video, audio and text content. BMP’s market is the Baby Boom Generation, 76 million American adults who are currently redefining aging in America. BMP’s television series will focus on the “leading edge” Boomers who are either approaching 50 or who are already over 50 years old. Our typical viewers are are well-educated, healthy and involved in their careers and communities. They are midlife Americans in transition, moving to new homes, starting new businesses, going back to school, taking on new family roles, considering their options... in essence, reinventing their lives. BMP’s founders, Bill Charette and Nancy Fernandez Mills, have assembled a core team of managers and producers with extensive network television and Internet experience. The company is actively building a valuable library of original content, including expert interviews, personal stories, graphics and scenic footage from national and international locations. |
